You are most cordially welcomed to the 11th Aegean Retina meeting, which will return to sparkling Crete, the island of its origin, and will be held from July 3rd to 5th in the charming area of Chania.
The meeting continues its tradition of exciting clinical and research presentations combined with lively discussion. The active participation of Greek, European, and many other noted international retina experts ensures a high level of scientific sophistication, and the charm of Chania, an ancient Venetian port with intricate streets, shops, marvelous food, and new discoveries at every turn ensures a relaxing and convivial atmosphere for all professional and social activities for participants and their guests. A post conference group excursion to the island of Mykonos is offered, and visits to other areas in Greece are easily arranged.
This year, a separate meeting, the First International Conference on Inflammation and Retinal Disease: Complement Biology and Pathology, has been organized by Dr. Anthony P. Adamis and has been conveniently scheduled in Crete to precede Aegean Retina and will take place June 26 to July 1. This meeting will feature a host of international experts in the exciting area of inflammation in retinal diseases, and more information is available at www.aegeanconferences.org/
We hope you will be able to take advantage of these outstanding retina meetings on Crete this summer! We guarantee our every effort to provide a scientifically-exciting and socially-unforgettable experience in this beautiful and captivating setting.
